The judges at the triathlon competitions in Almetyevsk (Republic of Tatarstan) for the first time in Russia used the new blockchain technology for summing up the results in electronic form using the My Sport platform.
Digital platform “My sport” developed by professional coaches, athletes and advanced IT-specialists specifically for the sports industry. It operates in 64 regions of the country. It has more than 38 thousand coaches and about 1 million athletes. Thanks to it, it became possible to use advanced technologies and best practices in the training process, as well as to monitor the pace at which this process is taking place in the region.
The judges confirmed the authenticity of the results of the triathlon competition by putting their electronic signature on the protocol, which was then saved using a smart contract on the Masterchain platform. Participants could quickly view their scores on their digital profile on the Mysport platform.
The new blockchain service was created with the aim of streamlining business procedures for both individual sports organizations and the entire industry. It is designed to eliminate the need for paperwork, its storage and transportation, and to simplify the search for athletes’ results.
In addition, this technological solution can be used for the automatic presentation of sports awards and encouragement for their sports achievements.
