Recently, two incredible price predictions were made in the crypto community for the value of Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP cryptocurrencies.
A group of Bitcoin maximalists have bet that within 90 days BTC will reach the price of $1 million, and representatives of the XRP army believe that the token has a chance to reach the level of $589.
And although both forecasts are unrealistic, G3vrse founder David Gochstein drew attention to the difference in the perception of these numbers.
I have a question.
Why is it that when people talk about how bitcoin can reach $1 million in 90 days, we throw parties and stuff.
When the XRP army says that XRP has a chance to reach $589, you get the resistance of the entire space.
It all started last Friday when Social Democrat James Medlock and former Coinbase employee Balaji Srinivasan made a $1 million bet that the US would not face hyperinflation.
In case of a loss, Balaji will send 1 million USD Coin (USDC) stablecoins to Medlock, and the payout can be programmed in a smart contract. If he is right, then Medlock will have to send him 1 BTC.
