Legendary rap artist Snoop Dogg and NFT Clay Nation have unveiled a new collection of Snoop Dogg, Gin & Juice non-fungible tokens. The NFT line was developed in close collaboration with Snoop Dogg’s son Chump Medici. Buyers of the collection will have exclusive access to the rapper’s unreleased tracks and other limited edition merchandise. The “Snoop Dogg, Gin & Juice” line is now available for purchase.
It is worth noting that Snoop Dogg has been positioning himself as an ardent crypto enthusiast for a long time. For example, he became a major collector of a number of non-fungible tokens from the NFT Bored Ape line. He was also seen actively supporting the Dogecoin memtoken together with Elon Muskrm. Among other things, the contractor also owns land in the Metaverse Sandbox startup.
A month ago, NFT Clay Nation representatives noted that the presented line of non-fungible tokens would be developed based on the Cardano blockchain. “Snoop Dogg, Gin & Juice” will be integrated into The Sandbox Game system to provide interoperability within Web 3.
For this ambitious project, NFT Clay Nation has partnered with Singapore-based creative agency Smobler Studios.
Earlier, the editors of Crypto.ru informed: the US Internal Revenue Service is interested in NFT tokens. The agency is working on amendments that would make such assets eligible as valuable collectibles along with jewelry, premium liquor and art.
Until June 19 this year, the regulator plans to collect community feedback on this issue. It was noted that a notional NFT proving the ownership of a virtual gem would be considered as a collectible in the end-to-end analysis.
