Japanese tech giant Fujitsu is registering trademarks for a wide range of banking, financial and cryptocurrency services.
Thus, the international technology company plans to provide financial services, including currency exchange, securities trading, insurance brokerage, tax planning and cryptocurrency trading.

A new initiative by such a large company and a leading player in the technology sector, Fujitsu, could shake up the world of digital finance and cryptocurrencies, as well as significantly change the balance of power in the financial services market.
Interestingly, in October last year, tech giant Fujitsu began working with renowned Japanese research institute Riken to build Japan’s first quantum computer.
And in these steps, Fujitsu sees some contradiction, since the emergence of more powerful computers is considered to be a threat to the cryptocurrency space, and especially to bitcoin.
At the end of January 2022, scientists from the University of Sussex confirmed that quantum computing could break the SHA-256 cryptographic algorithm and break the impenetrability of the bitcoin network in the next decade.
