The creators of the iEarn Bot cryptocurrency bot, which works on the basis of artificial intelligence, deceived thousands of traders.
Clients were offered to purchase a paid subscription to use iEarn Bot and make a deposit for automatic trading of digital assets. After the number of users from one country and the amount of assets invested by them reached a certain indicator, the bot developers turned off the withdrawal of funds and stole investors’ money.

BBC journalists have identified the identities of about 13,000 victims of scams. One of the victims lost almost $1.3 million earned in a year. However, the real number of deceived traders could be much higher, because over 800,000 people used iEarn Bot in Indonesia alone.
One of the victims was a resident of Romania Silvia Tabuska. She immediately suspected something was wrong, but still decided to use the bot, because it was advertised by the famous Romanian IT specialist Gabriel Garais. A programmer who works at the Romanian American University claims that he, like the rest of the traders, was cheated to steal his savings.
