The community of NFT lovers Own the Doge, with the support of the decentralized organization Doge, organizes a pilgrimage to a dog named Kabosu, which has become a symbol of the Dogecoin (DOGE) cryptocurrency meme.
The staff at Own the Doge invite everyone to travel to Japan to meet Kabosu and her “mother” Atsuko Sato. The “Pilgrims” are going to spend three and a half days on a trip and will stay at the famous Godzilla Hotel, located in Tokyo’s Shinjuku area.

The trip will take place from May 3 to May 7, tickets for the tour are sold on the Meet The Doge website for $4200. The cost of the tour includes hotel accommodation, meals, travel around the city and sightseeing. Part of the proceeds will be given to one member of the community for a trip to Japan.
Kabosu, now 17, fell ill late last year. Atsuko reported that the dog was diagnosed with leukemia and acute cholangiohepatitis.
On New Year’s Eve, the meme heroine suddenly recovered. Kabosu began to eat on her own and even take walks in the park. However, given the dog’s advanced age and blood cancer to which it is susceptible, Own the Doge’s pilgrimage may be the last chance to see the Dogecoin symbol for yourself.
