The well-known developer and creator of the Cardano (ADA) cryptocurrency, Charles Hoskinson, published a tirade about the lack of interest of the crypto community in constructive things. The entrepreneur was offended that a two-hour Twitter Spaces conversation about an upcoming Cardano governance update was all but ignored by network members. In his opinion, users are more interested and inspired by disputes and problems, contradictions and drama.
It was about a proposal to improve Cardano CIP-1694, which will contribute to the transition to the Voltaire era. The fifth and final era should bring changes to the governance structure of the blockchain. According to Hoskinson, this will clearly show how well decentralized network management is implemented.
The reaction from the Cardano community was not long in coming. Users reacted to the words of the developer, and opinions were divided. Some users said that such lectures are incomprehensible to ordinary people and they are not interested in listening for 2 hours about changes in management or staking in Cardano, which do not even exist yet.
At the same time, they directly expressed their interest in the project. However, users have stated that given the nature of the cryptocurrency industry, product development is important to them in terms of investment. According to them, the ADA digital currency has not met the profit expectations of many traders. As previously reported by analysts, about 80% of current Cardano holders suffered losses.
On the other hand, users expressed the opinion that the discussion of this topic was interesting. However, they noted that the problem is that Twitter and the media do not cover enough news about the development of Cardano. Users said that Hoskinson will acquire CoinDesk, then the popularity of the ADA cryptocurrency will grow significantly. As of 13:00 Moscow time on March 7, 2023, the digital asset was trading at $0.329.
