Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced a partnership with the educational platform Master Class to launch educational seminars on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
The course should include 18 lessons on the basic principles of blockchain, Web3, decentralized finance (DeFi), DAO, and so on. The speakers are going to be Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, President and COO of Coinbase crypto exchange Emilie Choi, General Partner of venture capital investment company Andreessen Horowitz and founder of a16z Crypto Chris Dixon, American publicist and laureate Nobel Prize in Economics Paul Krugman.
“As civilization develops, it is necessary to understand the latest technologies to create business models that would not exist with outdated traditional finance. Blockchain can expand people’s freedom without sacrificing other aspects such as security and ease of use,” Changpeng Zhao announced while discussing the need for an educational project.
In September, Binance already launched a training program for law enforcement, promising to help teach them how to spot cryptocurrency financial crimes faster. In March, Binance organized the Binance Learn and Earn project: users were lured by the opportunity to earn crypto assets while learning.
