As of today, the total number of bitcoin addresses with a balance of 1 BTC or more has exceeded 1 million for the first time.
The growth of decentralization and interest in bitcoin contributes to the accumulation of coins by medium-sized owners. Considering that a single wallet can have an almost unlimited number of addresses, at least some of those addresses are likely to belong to whales as well.
This process has accelerated significantly in recent years – with the onset of the last phase of the bear market. Thus, holders demonstrate maximum loyalty to bitcoin and support demand for it, which should allow maintaining key support levels.
