Crypto payment infrastructure company MoonPay is launching an NFT loyalty program for its users early next year, which it calls “soul-bound.”
Soulbound tokens are non-transferable tokens that represent a person’s identity using blockchain technology.
The token, dubbed “Web3 Passport”, will grant its holder access to exclusive events that the company is set to announce at the Art Basel event in Miami. The benefits of this program will be associated with the sale of tickets to events in the world of fashion, art, sports, music and entertainment.
MoonPay has over 10 million customers and all of them can join the Passport Program with additional tiers to be added over the next year.
As part of this program, the company will also expand support for the MoonPay Concierge service, which helps people buy NFTs.
