The popular Metamask wallet will add support for the mobile-first CELO blockchain. The developers of this ecosystem use the phone number and email address as the public key.
The CELO network operates on PoS consensus and specializes in issuing stable tokens. Blockchain will appear on Metamask as part of a partnership between developers and the creators of the popular wallet from ConsenSys.
They will provide CELO with access to the infrastructure, as well as provide a moto for transferring native tokens to Ethereum DeFi protocols. In turn, new partners will join the ConsenSys climate network.
