The press service of the mining company Nicehash reported that the technical service had discovered a problem with the latest software from NVIDIA. It was about the fact that the developers of the organization recently announced the video card driver v526.47. As it turned out, it caused some problems for cryptocurrency miners.
The firm assured that the latest update caused interruptions with a number of video cards and virtual asset mining algorithms. As it turned out, numerous users complained that they could not play their favorite games. Other users noted that they could not start the miners in any way, although all the settings were correct. Later it turned out that only those clients who updated their drivers to version 526.47 had problems.
Nicehash developers have advised users to use older versions that were famous for their stability. Experts advised downloading version 522.30 or 522.25, which completely removes the LHR limitation. The specialists assured that they had already contacted the programmers from NVIDIA and they were busy fixing this problem. As soon as it is resolved, the company will announce a new update, which will be available for download to all users.
Representatives of Nicehash said that there is nothing critical in this situation, however, many users of the equipment have suffered in recent days, as they could not understand the reasons why the mining of cryptocurrencies was not carried out or was not carried out correctly.
Earlier, the editors of Crypto.ru reported: members of the European Union (EU) should prepare for the fact that due to the deteriorating situation with energy resources, some companies may have to stop bitcoin mining. This was stated by the European Parliament in its official address.
