A series of lessons developed by 1inch aims to introduce users to decentralized finance and teach the basics of running a DAO.
Digital bank Revolut has partnered with popular decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator 1inch to jointly launch its Learn and Earn cryptocurrency course focused on decentralized finance (DeFi). According to Emil Urmanshin, general manager of cryptocurrencies at Revolut, the course introduces clients to various concepts of the cryptocurrency industry.
The courses were developed by specialists from 1inch – the program will include three lessons on the basics of DeFi: how decentralized exchanges work, what are the basics of managing decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and how the pathfinding algorithm from 1inch works. After each lesson, users will receive native 1inch (1INCH) tokens on their Revolut balance.
“It is very important to educate people about DeFi, as this area contributes to the further mass adoption of new technologies. We are very excited about launching courses with Revolut and hope to pave the way for further collaboration between us,” says 1inch Network co-founder Sergey Kunz.
According to Urmanshin, according to their data, the training courses have already demonstrated that people really need this form of education – it makes cryptocurrencies more accessible to the general public, and this in turn affects the general awareness of people about the crypto industry.
Recall that in September, the UK Financial Reporting Council rejected Revolut’s 2021 report due to significant audit flaws and an unacceptably high risk of data misrepresentation.
