Data from the XRP validator Rich-List.Info shows that the number of XRP wallets has crossed the 4 million mark and now stands at 4,311,415.

The rise comes as users believe the end of the long-running legal battle between Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is near. Notably, both parties have already filed summary judgment petitions in September, and XRP holders expect the blockchain company to win.
What’s more, in the last couple of days, more and more businesses are promising support for Ripple. For example, as reported The Crypto Basic On Friday, Philippine money transfer company I-Remit requested an amicus report in support of Ripple. Also, on the same day, Ripple advocate and former U.S. Attorney James K. Filan tweeted that TapJets, a private jet rental company, had also done the same.
As reported Thursday, Ripple scored another victory in the ongoing lawsuit as Judge Analisa Torres overruled the SEC’s objection to Judge Sarah Netburn’s decision ordering the SEC to release documents related to William Hinman’s controversial 2018 draft speech.
It is worth noting that litigation is not the only positive side of XRP. After a year-long delay, the Flare Network has finally confirmed the timing of the distribution of its tokens to XRP holders. It is noteworthy that the distribution of tokens is scheduled for the period from October to November.
On Friday, Lunar Crush ranked the token as the number one altcoin among nearly 4,000 others based on social activity and price action. XRP is in the same price position as in 2017 and a price increase of 790% can be set.
