The rate of the flagship cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) failed to gain a foothold above the $20,000 mark. As of 11:45 Moscow time on October 1, 2022, digital gold was trading at $19,342, having lost 0.99% of its value over the past day. Last night, the price of BTC rose to $20,100 on some centralized exchanges, but then again fell below the values of the previous day.
The market capitalization of the first cryptocurrency was $370.66 billion, and the volume of daily transactions was fixed at $38.89 billion. Traders on social networks actively discussed the future movement of the BTC rate, but could not agree on an opinion.
Most of them assured: bearish sentiment will continue to prevail in the market. However, some of the participants claimed that the price would start falling immediately, while others had no doubt that a correction would first be fixed on the chart and Bitcoin would be able to overcome the $20,000 mark again.
Meanwhile, the second cryptocurrency, Ethereum, also slightly decreased in value and was available for purchase at $1,331, which is 0.53% cheaper than the same indicator a day ago. Traders noted that both leading digital assets have been extremely low volatile over the past few days. The total supply of ETH coins circulating in circulation amounted to $163.17 billion, and the volume of transactions in the market was $12.23 billion.
The total capitalization of all projects in this industry froze at $979.2 billion, which is 1.05% lower than a day ago.
