Wyoming U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis believes that Bitcoin (BTC) can solve financial sector problems such as inflation.
According to her, bitcoin is “impossible to contain” because it offers users an alternative to dollar devaluation due to rising public debt and inflation.
I love that it’s unstoppable; I’m worried about our national debt, I’m worried about inflation. I see people in my home state of Wyoming going to the banks because they need fuel to get to work.
Now they have to choose between expensive gas and food… We see an inflationary spiral… It’s actually nice to know that bitcoin exists,” Lummis said.
The senator previously introduced a comprehensive cryptocurrency regulation bill intended to provide a framework for regulating the US crypto sector.
The right approach to regulate cryptocurrencies is currently being discussed in the United States, with the world’s first framework to create a regulatory framework for the sector a little earlier.
