Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon posted on Twitter on September 28, where he denied allegations of sending bitcoins from Luna Foundation Guard wallets to the balance of the KuCoin and OKX crypto exchanges. The entrepreneur emphasized that he had not used the services of these sites for more than a year. He also believes that a lot of false information is being deliberately spread against him.
Do Kwon points out that Luna Foundation Guard and Terraform Labs funds were not frozen. Earlier, the South Korean prosecutor’s office sent a request to KuCoin and OKX to freeze the developer’s assets in the amount of $67 million after the discovery of money transfers from LFG wallets.
But according to representatives of the Luna Foundation Guard, the platform has not transferred bitcoin or any other crypto assets since the May crash of Terra (LUNA). South Korean law enforcement agencies suggest that the founder of Terraform Labs created a new wallet in LFG and allegedly transferred the cryptocurrency to the balance of the above exchanges.
Earlier, Interpol issued a red notice against Do Kwon as South Korean prosecutors stepped up their investigation. The security forces are actively looking for the developer, while he continues to indicate on Twitter that he is not going to hide and is ready to cooperate with representatives of law enforcement agencies.
Initially, it was assumed that Do Kwon was in Singapore, but according to local police, the businessman left the state.
Cryptocurrency Terra Classic (LUNC) lost 10.5% in the last 24 hours in capitalization, which decreased to $1.6 billion. Trading volumes decreased by 66.75% over the same period. As of September 28, 2022 at 11:40 am Moscow time, the quotes of the digital asset are trading at $0.000263.
