The founder of Cardano shared with the viewers of his video blog new ideas aimed at improving the performance of the blockchain.
Charles Hoskinson said he shares the vision of the Cardano community to develop standards for an ADA certified wallet. According to the businessman, it is time for the crypto community to get rid of the heterogeneous and initially broad concept of official crypto wallets. Instead, Hoskinson suggests developing reference standards to guide developers when issuing ADA-certified crypto wallets:
“We propose to completely get rid of the concept of official crypto wallets and introduce the concept of a certified wallet. Uniform certification standards will allow developers to set functional and non-functional requirements, including benchmarking and performance requirements for user interaction. It would be great to create multiple protocols to make things run faster.”
It is worth noting that Cardano has experienced significant growth in recent years, as evidenced by the increase in the number of ADA wallets. According to media reports, in the middle of the third quarter of 2022, the number of ADA wallets exceeded 3.5 million.
Earlier, the founder of Cardano welcomed the US consideration of the Financial Innovation Act. According to Charles Hoskinson, if the bill receives the support of the US government, then institutional investors will be able to invest huge amounts in cryptocurrency markets.
