As for the flagship virtual currency Bitcoin (BTC), its value has also fallen, but not as much. Digital gold was trading at $18,680, down 1.84% from yesterday. The total supply of coins circulating in circulation on the market amounted to $358.54 billion. The sector participants provided trade transactions in the amount of $49.65 billion over the specified period of time.
Among the top 10 cryptocurrencies in terms of maximum capitalization, only Ripple (XRP) managed to rise in price. The rate of the digital currency, contrary to the movement of the global market, increased by 3.21% over the past day and stopped at $0.42.
Cryptocurrency has added a total of a quarter in value over the past 7 days. Its capitalization reached $21.09 billion, which allowed it to rise to the 6th place in the ranking of the best, ahead of Binance USD (BUSD). Daily trading volumes with a virtual asset amounted to $3.6 billion.
The total capitalization of the crypto market lost 2.03% in 24 hours and amounted to $948.76 billion.
Earlier, the Crypto.ru editors reported: as of the morning of September 22, 2022, four cryptocurrencies from the top 100 rating became more expensive by 4% or more per day. The best result of the day was recorded by Algorand (ALGO), whose price soared by 7.4%, stopping at $0.35. The capitalization of the virtual currency was $2.42 billion.
