All the leading cryptocurrencies related to the Metaverse have fallen in price over the past week. Nevertheless, among them, experts noted ApeCoin. Only this currency managed to appreciate in the period from April 7 to April 13, 2022.
The most popular project in the Metaverse world called Decentraland has dropped significantly in value over the past 7 days. As of 12:25 Moscow time, the virtual asset is trading at $2.16, which is a whopping 13% cheaper than the same indicator a week ago. MANA’s market capitalization has fallen below the $4 billion mark.
At the same time, ApeCoin, as already mentioned, added 5.07% in price over the week. This was mainly due to the fact that the asset has grown in value by 9.7% over the past day. Now 1 APE can be purchased for $12.17. The total supply of virtual assets in the market is $3.9 billion.
The native virtual world token The Sandbox also lost value. The SAND exchange rate fluctuates around the $2.81 mark, which is 12.1% lower than exactly a week ago. The market capitalization of the cryptocurrency asset has fallen to $3.25 billion.
Two other projects in the top 5 among all startups related to the metaverse – Theta Network and Axie Infinity – also seriously fell in price during the reporting period. Cryptocurrency THETA is trading at $3.08, which is 16.44% less than the same figure a week ago, and AXS is worth $48.39, which is 17.48% cheaper than a week ago.
Earlier, the editors of Crypto.ru reported that the MetaVentures event will take place from May 7 to May 9 this year. Its visitors will be able to plunge into the atmosphere of the latest developments in the field of Blockchain, Metaverse, NFT, DeFi, DAO, Digital Art and regulation of digital assets in Asia. The event will take place in Phuket and will bring together leading players in the digital industry.
