Last April Shiba Inu traded with seven zeros, today it trades with just four zeros. During the year, the token knocked out three “zeros” from its trade and is unlikely to stop there.
In October 2021, SHIB surged 1000% in 30 trading days to hit an all-time high of $0.00008616. However, the rate is now down 71.4% from its all-time high. However, the SHIB community is hopeful that the token will break through the $0.01 mark, as evidenced by the tag “1 Cent Dream.”
One factor that is preventing the token from reaching “1 Cent Dream” is the sheer amount of SHIB in circulation. SHIB has 549 trillion circulating assets, so reaching the $0.01 mark is almost impossible, since for this the token must have a market capitalization greater than that of bitcoin.
In this regard, it is appropriate to put the question this way: will Shiba Inu reach the level of $ 0.01 in 2030?
To turn a dream into a 1 cent achievement, Shiba Inu needs a lot of burns. Trillions of coins need to be destroyed every year to remove them from circulation. When there is a shortage of demand for a token in the market, the price starts to rise.
In order to guide SHIB towards the 1 cent goal, the team must effectively use its ecosystem, in other words, it must become the main tool for daily token burning.
For example, upcoming developments such as Shibarium and ShibaSwap 2.0 should work in such a way that the small transaction fees charged to users are used to burn tokens.
Shibarium will undoubtedly attract more new users to the ranks of SHIB, and a small transaction fee, which is then used to burn SHIB, can have the desired effect in the long run. The number of transactions will be huge, thanks to which the burning process will gain momentum.
If the burning process is organized correctly, destroying a lot of tokens every year, SHIB has a chance to overcome the $0.01 mark. Otherwise, the dream in “1 Cent Dream” will remain unfulfilled.
