In the center of Moscow, attackers stole 17.7 million rubles from three men under the pretext of transferring funds into cryptocurrencies. This was reported by law enforcement agencies, writes “TASS”.
In one of the offices in the 1st Krasnogvardeisky passage, unknown people “by deception under the pretext of replenishing an electronic wallet” took possession of the funds of three men.
The total amount of damage amounted to 17,770,970 rubles.
A criminal case has been opened on fraud, the attackers face up to 10 years in prison.
Earlier, a resident of Salekhard lost about 626,000 rubles on cryptocurrency fraud.
