The Dogecoin (DOGE) crypto-currency meme team has announced the release of a non-custodial mobile wallet called MyDoge Wallet for iOS gadgets.
MyDoge Wallet is designed to store, send, receive and trade DOGE on portable devices. The creators of the software promise that users will be able to count on a low commission for performing transactions and a high level of crypto storage security. The program works on iPhone and iPod Touch with iOS 12.0 or higher operating system.
Employees of the Dogecoin project have not yet announced the exact release date of a similar mobile application for Android devices. Therefore, owners of equipment on this OS have to use multi-cryptocurrency wallets, for example, Trust Wallet and Metamask.
The release of MyDoge Wallet is intended to stir up the interest of the crypto community in DOGE and reverse the protracted bearish trend in the market. After hitting ATH at $0.7424 (on the Bitfinex exchange) in May last year, Dogecoin began to fall and is already down 83% from its all-time high to $0.1268. Nevertheless, the news about the creation of the wallet has not yet had a positive impact on the dynamics of changes in the value of the coin.
