Allbridge cross-chain bridge adds support for Ripple XRP Ledger.
Allbridge, a cross-chain bridge with a total value of over $500M, is integrating Ripple XRP Ledger (XRPL) as its 12th blockchain, allowing XRP asset to be transferred seamlessly across Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana, Terra, Polygon, Fantom, Binance Smart Chain, Celo, Aurora, Harmony and Heco.
The integration will also bring assets such as $AVAX, $SOL, $LUNA, and $MATIC, as well as the $USDT, $USDC, and $UST stablecoins, directly to the XRP ledger using a built-in decentralized exchange (DEX). The Allbridge XRP Ledger integration is expected to go live at the end of the second quarter of 2022, for which Ripple will provide technical support.
Andrey Veliky, co-founder and CEO of Allbridge, noted:
This partnership gives us a unique opportunity to add support for the XRP Ledger, allowing millions of DeFi users to interact with the XRP ecosystem. Allbridge will provide a bridge solution to make this possible, and Ripple will provide technical support. Together we will contribute to the growing interoperability in the DeFi space.
It was previously known that Ripple presented the report on the XRP markets for the 4th quarter of 2021.
