Binance Eastern Europe Director warns of increased social media scammers posting misleading ads on behalf of Binance
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume, has denied information about the imminent release of its own payment cards in Russia.
“We have become aware of a social media scam that is associated with Binance products. We ask users not to share any data or transfer funds to scammers. All information about new products is primarily published on Binance’s official social networks,” RBC- Crypto” director of Binance in Eastern Europe Gleb Kostarev.
On January 26, it became known that Binance resumed accepting deposits through the SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) system in test mode thanks to a partnership with the Paysafe payment system. Pilot testing of the feature has already begun. Access to bank transfers through SEPA was given to a limited number of users of the trading platform.
