The XUMM wallet, developed by XRPL Labs, has partnered with the FIO Protocol. As a result of the collaboration, the integration of FIO Send with the XUMM wallet took place, which will allow wallet users to send XRP to human-readable addresses, avoiding the use of cumbersome and inconvenient auto-generated addresses.
From now on, XUMM users can choose the FIO cryptographic descriptor in the alice @ website or satoshinakamoto @ xumm format. This will likely make it easier for new users to make XUMM and XRP payments, who are not comfortable using crypto addresses in the traditional format of a set of mixed numbers and symbols.
Starting January 11, users will be able to select unique descriptors to send XRP on the FIO Protocol website completely free of charge.
As of this writing, the eighth largest cryptocurrency is trading at $ 0.7882, with a 5.8% daily gain, according to CoinGecko.
