XUMM, a non-custodial wallet from XRPL Labs, is the primary retail wallet for XRP tokens and assets issued by the XRP Ledger. He just formed a partnership that will make it easier for XRPL users to send money.
XUMM integrates FIO Send from FIO Protocol
According to an official joint statement released by the Foundation for Interwallet Operaability (FIO) and XUMM, the wallet integrates FIO Send, a critical feature of the FIO ecosystem.
This feature will be available after the launch of the upcoming XUMM 2.2.6 update.
The upcoming XUMM 2.2.6 update adds FIO support to the «Recipient resolver» (Send flow).

Thus, over half a million XUMM users will be able to send and receive money using the brand new XUMM feature. With FIO Send, users can replace their cumbersome auto-generated URLs with human-readable cash tags (descriptors).
Unlike the CashApp mobile app, users can choose the FIO crypto descriptor in alice @ website or satoshikamoto @ xumm format.
This capability will accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrencies among newbies trapped in long public wallet addresses and make existing Web3 enthusiasts easier and safer to interact with.
Unique descriptors can be requested from the FIO protocol website
Starting January 11, 2022, unique crypto descriptors can be requested for free on the main FIO Protocol website. Also in FIO Send there is a function to prevent money transfer to the wrong address.

FIO Protocol is a multi-blockchain infrastructure provider.
With FIO-enabled products, cryptocurrency users can send, receive, and even request cryptocurrency payments for any token or coin to their own human-readable crypto wallet descriptor – the FIO address – and have fun doing it.
FIO addresses are non-fungible tokens (NFT) consisting of a username and domain, such as cryptofan @ cmc. The domain itself is a separate NFT that can be bought and sold.
Previously human readable addresses were available to XRP holders using the XRPL-based Sologenic ecosystem.
