According to the Iranian publication ilna.news, the Central Bank of Iran and the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade have reached an agreement to connect the CBI crypto platform to the Integrated Trading System, which allows businesses to use cryptocurrency for settlements with foreign partners.
This was stated by the head of the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization Peyman Pak:
We are finalizing the mechanism of the system. It should provide importers and exporters with new opportunities for using cryptocurrency in international transactions.
