Today the leading provider of marketing services for the world’s leading brands IZEA Worldwide Inc. announced that it accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum as payment for its work. IZEA will also start paying select influencers in cryptocurrency for campaigns paid for in digital assets.
In a recent survey of 1,000 US participants, IZEA found that influencers were the first to switch to cryptocurrency: 65% of influencers surveyed already own cryptocurrency, 50% expressed interest in getting paid in cryptocurrency for content creation.
Today’s decision by influencer marketing pioneer IZEA responds to this demand by allowing top brands to pay in crypto for promotional campaigns.
IZEA first introduced cryptocurrency in 2018 when it started running an altcoin mining business.
