At the very start of the coronavirus pandemic, 46-year-old Brenda Gentry took up crypto investments. In October 2020, she decided to end her activity as an underwriter of a mortgage loan and chose the crypto industry as the main vector of development. The woman started a consulting company that became so successful that the woman now earns $ 80,000 in monthly income.
Brenda Gentry treats digital assets as a way to accumulate wealth, which she can pass on to her daughters in the future, cryptonews reports. Her daughters are 23 and 19 years old, and today the whole family is completely delighted with the opportunities that they receive with cryptoassets.
Gentry became confident in her abilities around the beginning of this year, when her profits from crypto trading exceeded those from her retirement savings. She noticed that her investment portfolio in just 6 months was larger than her 401 (k) retirement savings account, which took 11 years to grow to $ 200,000.
The woman is aware of the risks that accompany crypto investments, however, experience in the financial sector and prudence at this stage allows her to feel calm when investing in crypto.
Gentry’s company Gentry Media Productions is consulting for DeFi and NFT projects. The company’s monthly income on average ranges from 10 ETH ($ 40,000) to 20 ETH ($ 80,000). It is reported that at the previous place of work Brenda Gentry earned about $ 75,000 per year.
A mother of two notes that crypto assets are her financial freedom. She says that many people were unable to borrow with traditional finance due to existing credit constraints, but now they can invest in digital assets and borrow from her.
Apparently, this story is just one example of a larger trend, as a result of which cryptocurrencies are changing the way people live and become a resource for the growth of their income.
As the results of the CivicScience study, conducted from April to November 2021 among almost 7,000 respondents, 11% of those surveyed indicated that they personally quit their old job or know someone who did it because of their investments in BTC and ETH.
