ShibaSwap developer Eric M. commented on the development of Shibarium by writing “coming soon” in a Discord post.
As we can see, so far an anonymous developer has not named the exact timeline for the launch of the long-awaited Level 2 scaling solution.

In early December, Eric M announced that the team would not have to wait for the deployment of Ethereum 2.0, a major update to the second-largest blockchain by market cap, to launch Shibarium.
Next, the anonymous creator of the cryptocurrency Ryoshi announced the Shiba Inu level-2 solution in a post on Medium.
Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), the governance token of the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange, will act as the platform’s main cryptocurrency instead of SHIB, thus avoiding the concentration of funds in cryptokits.
Ryoshi stressed that Shibarium needs to be decentralized so that there is no single point of failure.
Due to the fact that Shiba Inu is an ERC-20 token that is built on top of the Ethereum blockchain, it also suffers from high fees.
Reducing transaction costs is critical to the growing cryptocurrency ecosystem, which will include gaming and non-fungible tokens. For this reason, the upcoming launch of Shibarium is considered one of the largest catalysts for cryptocurrency.
