DAZE is an exhibition of 30 NFT artists and curators who have gathered in Delhi to showcase their latest work. Organized by the Cryptoart India Collective, this exhibition features works by 10 established NFT artists, as well as 20 emerging artists selected through an open competition. The curators of the event are Cyber Shakti, Amrit Pal Singh, Mehak Jain, A Nadamel, Jatin Pathi, Prasad Bhat, Melvin Tambi, Shivani Mitra, Vishesh Chopra and Bartazian.
Priyanka Balwa, aka CyberShakti, curator and artist for NFT, says the event aims to highlight some of the brightest and most successful NFT artists in India, as well as introduce people to the world of NFT. She said:
“For those who don’t know what NFT is, we run workshops and sessions that explain to people what it is.”
Everyone who comes to this exhibition will be able to get acquainted with real works of art. Aspiring artists need mentors and counselors to whom they can ask even the most ridiculous questions.
Amrit Pal Singh, an artist known for his work with doll faces, noted:
“With the advent of the NFT, digital art has come to be seen on the same pedestal as conventional art … I think it’s a good thing.”
This gap between traditional and digital art is gradually blurring. And all thanks to the exhibitions that ordinary people can visit. Digital art is becoming widespread not only in India but around the world.
