Elektra, an international trading company owned by one of Mexico’s richest men, Ricardo Salinas, has announced a new agreement with BitPay that will allow the company to accept payments in Bitcoin (BTC) with a Christmas discount.
The company’s website describes in detail the terms of payments in the main cryptocurrency. Users who made purchases in BTC before December 31st will receive a 20% discount.

A tweet highlighted the ease of making payments with cryptocurrencies while taking into account its volatility.
Due to the constant fluctuations in the value of bitcoin, the price is updated every 15 minutes.
The Mexican businessman who also owns the major bank Banco Azteca has publicly admitted that part of his investment portfolio is dedicated to the leading cryptocurrency.
