Tron founder Justin Sun has announced that he will leave the Tron Foundation and take over as Grenada’s representative to the World Trade Organization.
(1/6)✉️Dear #TRONICS, developers, and all my friends:
I am thrilled to share with everyone about the significant milestone of the #TRON protocol and my appointment as the Ambassador.

According to him, he does not leave the project, but rather “rather removes himself from active participation in it and the role of a leader”.
“I will continue to interact with the Tron community and strive to further develop the blockchain,” he wrote.
Sun noted that his decision is helping to decentralize the Tron network, which is governed by 27 elected “super representatives”. The Tron Foundation and BitTorrent have previously dropped out, he stressed.
In his new position, Sun intends to fight for the interests of developing countries and promote blockchain technology in the WTO. In an interview with CoinDesk, he said that he also plans to work on the legitimization of cryptocurrencies in Latin America after the “success of El Salvador.”
Against the background of the news, the price of the TRX token fell from levels around $ 0.085 to around $ 0.082.
