The Moscow police received a statement from the victim, who claims that $ 1 million was taken from him during the sale of digital assets.
According to TASS, citing a law enforcement source, during the transaction, the buyer gave the victim a bag of money for Tether stablecoins. After that, two unknown persons broke into the room, snatched the bag from the latter and handed it back to its original owner.
Subsequently, the victim was able to contact the buyer. He explained the incident with the work of his security service and promised to return the money, but after that he stopped communicating.
The police started checking.
Earlier in Moscow, during a transaction to sell a cryptocurrency, 7 million rubles were stolen.
