Voices of Classic Rock (VOCR) Archive Announces New Series of NFT Tokens Featuring Members of The Beatles
The collection consists of 4 NFT tokens, each corresponding to a group member and includes a rare interview in WAV format along with a unique image.
John Lennon’s interview consists of his reflections on the song “A Day in the Life” from Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Orchestra, while Paul McCartney talks about his creative energy and connection to the music industry. Ringo Starr shares the story of a fan stealing and recovering a locket, and George Harrison shares his thoughts on Abbey Road Studios. The group members’ images were created by artist Chloe Zola.
NFTs will be minted based on Ethereum, and bids are only accepted in ETH. The starting price of each NFT starts at 1.25 ETH, but given the extremely rare nature of these tokens, it should rise significantly.
At the moment, NFT tokens are listed for sale on the official VOCR website, and the auction itself will end on Friday, December 10th.
This auction is the first event to sell Beatles-related NFTs.
In March, NFT images from John Lennon’s post-Beatles song “Lost Weekend” (1973) were up for sale at auction.
