In the Botlikh district of Dagestan, police found a cryptocurrency mining farm illegally connected to the power grid.
According to the investigation, the miners belong to a 35-year-old resident of the Dakhadaevsky district. He placed the equipment in a non-residential area and connected to a nearby power line.
The farm has been operating since November.
In the premises, the police found components, a laptop and ASIC miners.
The preliminary damage to the grid company is estimated at 257,000 rubles.
Recall that in recent days, the police in Dagestan have identified two large mining farms that are illegally connected to the power grid. The total damage from their work amounted to about 1.6 million rubles.
