Brad Garlinghouse, head of Ripple, said the lawsuit could end soon.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said his crypto company’s litigation with regulators could soon be over. Garlinghouse said the case “is making good progress despite a slow trial,” so the trial could end in 2022.
The head of Ripple added that the judge’s questions seemed to be in favor of the cryptocurrency: “I think the judge understands that this is not just about Ripple, it will have broader implications,” he explained.
Earlier, a Ripple spokesman emphasized that over-regulation by the SEC and other bodies could harm the crypto industry. He called the lawsuit not just a lawsuit against Ripple, but “an all-out attack on the crypto industry.”
